Last April, we were excited to celebrate Cody Andrews as our Employee Owner of the Month out of our Caldwell location! Cody has been with us for a little over a year, and in that time, he’s become an integral part of our team. What stands out most to Cody about his time here is the supportive environment fostered by his coworkers. Whether it’s the camaraderie in the workplace or the little perks like the free lunches for birthdays and anniversaries, Cody values the sense of community that makes working at Caldwell special.

Cody highlights the fantastic dynamic at our Caldwell location, where the team works tirelessly to meet the needs of our customers. A key part of their success is their ability to spread out the yard crew, ensuring that customers are assisted as quickly and efficiently as possible. This dedication to customer service is something that Cody takes pride in, and it’s a big part of what makes working here rewarding for him.

One of the aspects of working at Tates that Cody is particularly passionate about is the ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) program. For Cody, the ESOP program is more than just a benefit; it’s a meaningful incentive that grows in value the longer you’re with the company. As an Employee Owner, Cody feels a personal responsibility to ensure that every piece of equipment is serviced to the highest standard, knowing that he and his fellow employees have a stake in the company’s success.

Cody is an advocate for the ESOP program and would recommend it to friends and family. He appreciates how it allows employees to build their pay over time, independent of traditional raises. This forward-thinking approach to compensation is something Cody sees as a unique and valuable aspect of working at Tates.

Looking ahead, Cody envisions himself growing within the company over the next 5-10 years. His goal is to become a “jack of all trades,” mastering both the inside and outside jobs, and deepening his knowledge of the company. With his dedication and passion for learning, there’s no doubt Cody has a bright future ahead at Tates Rents.
